Ms. Iman Shervington is a public health filmmaker and communications specialist, and the Sr. Director of Media & Communications at the Institute of Women & Ethnic Studies. She has a BA from the University of Southern California and an MFA from Columbia University. She's created over 50 short and feature-length films; implemented health prevention programs; developed social marketing campaigns; led Human Centered Design projects; and presented at 15+ conferences. She participated in Spitfire's Executive Training and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Culture of Health Leaders programs, and in 2024 her edutainment projects Are You Ready? and New Nickels won silver Anthem Awards.
