Sergeant Mike Hartigan has been a correctional officer for 21 years. He is a member of the security team for the Plymouth County Correctional Facilities’ MOUD clinic. He is a key member of the MOUD clinic staff and joined the team after PCCF, in conjunction with the medical provider, earned Opioid Treatment Provider (OTP) status. For 17 years he worked with the most challenging incarcerated individuals in administrative segregation at PCCF. He was a squad leader for the Tactical Response Team, trained for Critical Incidents , and was a swat negotiator for 10 years with the Southeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council. He is FBI-certified in Crisis Negotiations.
