Ms. Deborah Nichols is the Deputy Director of the Division of HIV, STI & Viral Hepatitis at the Indiana Department of Health. Previously, she served as the staff epidemiologist at the Indiana Department of Correction. She holds a Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in epidemiology and Master of Science degree in Earth Science. She has experience in private and public sectors, both domestically and internationally. Ms. Nichols is a founding member of the Indiana Peer Education Program, a program that trains people incarcerated to be public health educators and is interested in utilizing data to address health disparities.
