Fred Meyer is the managing director of NCCHC's non-profit consulting arm. He works with a diverse group of industry experts to provide technical assistance to detention and correctional facilities across the country. Services include health system assessments and improvement, RFP/RFQ development, health services contract management and monitoring, suicide prevention, opioid crisis and MAT, health care space design, and training. Mr. Meyer holds a master's degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is an NCCHC Certified Correctional Health Professional (CCHP) and an AJA Certified Jail Manager (CJM). Prior to joining NCCHC Resources, he completed a career with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. As deputy chief, he was responsible for the largest jail system in Nevada. He is proud to continue working with corrections and health care professionals to improve services, mitigate risk and liability, and promote safer detention environments.
