Ms. Marjorie M. Cisneros holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas and a Master of Business Administration degree from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas. In 1998 Ms. Cisneros began her tenure with the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston as a management analyst within the Faculty Group Practice. In 2015 she transitioned to Hospital Galveston, a general acute care facility for offenders within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice system, and currently serves as associate vice president of inpatient operations. Additionally, Ms. Cisneros leads the Correctional Managed Care Utilization Review and Bed Management Team which provides case management services for offender care. She also volunteers extensively in the local community. Ms. Cisneros has been an active member of The Junior League of Galveston County, Inc. since moving to Galveston and has served in various board positions including an appointment as president.
