Ms. Suchi Desai is a third-year premedicine student at the University of Southern California, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in health promotion and disease prevention and a Master of Science in global medicine. Passionate about public health and health care accessibility, she conducts research at the CHOICES Lab, examining the relationship between smoking and stress levels. She volunteers at Keck Hospital and Bronte Harbour Physiotherapy, gaining hands-on experience in patient care. Additionally, Ms. Desai is actively involved in community outreach through Interaxon, where she teaches neuroscience to youth, and serves as the vice president of fundraising for University of Southern California American Cancer Society. Dedicated to addressing mental health stigma, she has been engaged in initiatives supporting long-term care patients with behavioral challenges. Her academic and extracurricular experiences reflect her commitment to medicine and improving health care outcomes.
