Dr. Barry-Lewis Harris II is a recognized leader with extensive experience in clinical care, health policy, and organizational excellence. He has served in leadership roles across diverse settings, including private hospitals, long-term care facilities, the Veterans Health Administration, and correctional health. His past roles include Chief of Staff, Chief Medical Officer, and CEO of the Common Table Health Alliance. He currently serves as Medical Director and Chief of Correctional Health at Parkland Health, overseeing care for the Dallas County Jail and Juvenile Detention Facilities. Dr. Harris earned his MD from East Tennessee State University, completed his residency at Meharry Medical College, and is board-certified in Family Medicine. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha and holds a BS in Biology from the University of Tennessee at Martin.
