Ms. Angela Hurd completed an MS degree in criminal justice management studies at Sam Houston State University and an MA degree in counseling at Prairie View University. She is a licensed professional counselor who uses her education and experience to provide clinical services to adults with mental health and criminal needs. Ms. Hurd's education and professional experience focus on the treatment of adults with social, emotional, behavioral, physical, and mental developmental disabilities. She has experience providing support for adults and adolescents who are physically, mentally, and emotionally disabled or who have various developmental disabilities and criminal backgrounds, as well as their family members. Ms. Hurd currently works as a clinical team lead for the Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD inside of Harris County Jail. There, she supervises peers and clinical staff who provide direct services to individuals in jail and in the community.
