Mx. Alias Martinez-France is a junior at the University of Southern California, studying Political Science and Global Health. Their research focuses on the intersection of race, medicine, and law, with an emphasis on medical malpractice and health disparities affecting marginalized communities. Mx. Martinez-France has worked as a medical assistant at CD Orthopedics and Branch Pediatrics, gaining hands-on experience in patient care and clinical administration. In addition to their medical background, they serve as a cultural ambassador for the Center for Black Students and Cultural Affairs, fostering inclusivity and engagement on campus. Mx. Martinez-France has also presented research on social media?s impact on adolescent mental health and is currently investigating the relationship between social media exposure and anxiety and depression among USC students.
