Dr. Carolina Montoya, a clinical psychologist based in Miami, Florida, retired from Miami-Dade County after 35 years of administration in the social services and criminal justice areas. For the past 20 years, she has focused on utilizing her administrative and clinical experience in the field of corrections. She has consulted and evaluated mental health treatment services at the state and local government levels as well as rendering expert evaluations in legal cases involving mental health issues. She is currently a court-appointed federal monitor. Dr. Montoya maintains a private practice and is an experienced trainer and presenter.
