Ms. Dallas Ryan is a medical student at the George Washington University School of Medical and Health Sciences with a strong commitment to health equity, violence prevention, and policy reform. Her work focuses on youth firearm violence, hospital-based violence intervention programs, and Medicaid policy implementation. She has contributed to research on suicidality among youth who experience discrimination, health literacy initiatives for incarcerated individuals, and disparities in trauma care. Before medical school, she led community health initiatives through the Netter Center for Community Partnerships. Ms. Ryan is passionate about integrating research and advocacy to improve correctional health care systems and advance policy-driven solutions in violence prevention.
