Dr. Uvieoghene Ughwanogho currently serves as the clinical director of rehabilitation services for the University of Texas-Medical Branch-Correctional Managed Care and has been active in this role for approximately four years. Prior to this, she served as the medical director of inpatient rehabilitation in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Baylor College of Medicine-Houston and also as faculty physician at Quentin Mease Rehabilitation Hospital. Dr. Ughwanogho obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in biological sciences from Rutgers University, New Jersey, completed her internal medicine preliminary internship at the New York Presbyterian Hospital in Flushing, New York, and her physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Charleston, Massachusetts. She is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
