Ms. Faith Woo is a student at the University of Southern California, pursuing a BS in global health with a minor in cinematic arts. Growing up in a community with stark disparities in health care access, she developed a deep awareness of how systemic inequities shape health outcomes. Her research interests focus on global health inequalities, mental health, and maternal and child health, where disparities are especially pronounced. Ms. Woo is particularly interested in how digital media can bridge gaps in health care access, education, and advocacy. As a producer & editor at Trojan Vision and a writer at Curam Magazine, she explores how storytelling can make complex health issues more accessible and drive social change. Committing to lessening the health equity gap, she aims to merge media and global health to create narratives that inform, empower, and inspire action on pressing health issues worldwide.
