Ms. Angela Geonah Kim is a recent graduate of Boston University, where she earned a B.A. in Psychological and Brain Sciences. She is preparing for law school with the goal of pursuing a career in the Criminal Justice System. Her interests include addressing gender- and race-based disparities in incarceration, advancing mental health care reform within correctional institutions, and shaping healthcare law to eliminate systemic barriers. Ms. Kim volunteers at Our Home, a group home where she supports North Korean defector youth who have been separated from their families. Helping them build stability through their transition into adulthood strengthened her dedication to trauma-informed advocacy and inspired her career plans.
