Dr. Travis Schamber is the national medical director at Bicycle Health, where he leads a team of more than 70 addiction medicine providers in a telehealth medical group. He began his career as a hybrid internist, practicing in both inpatient and outpatient settings, while also moonlighting in local jails to treat justice-involved patients. This experience led him to a full-time role in correctional health care, where he served as corporate medical director at Advanced Correctional Healthcare. He later returned to primary care, overseeing the launch of ten new medical centers at Oak Street Health. Dr. Schamber is board-certified in both addiction medicine and internal medicine.
