Dr. Taisei Suzuki is a board-certified family medicine physician specializing in correctional health care. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Portland, a Master of International Public Health degree from the University of Sydney, and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from A.T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. Before medical school, he spent nearly eight years working in humanitarian aid with nongovernmental organizations and the United Nations in Africa. Dr. Suzuki currently serves as Medical Director for multiple county jails in Maryland and continues to provide care for incarcerated patients in Washington, DC. His work focuses on advancing correctional medicine through clinical excellence, education, and leadership.
