Dr. Michael G. Rayel serves as Regional Medical Director for Mental Health Services at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Managed Care, Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry, and Program Director of the Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship. He earned his medical degree from De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute, completed psychiatric residency and fellowship training at New York Medical College, New York University Medical Center, and Harvard Medical School, and later earned an Executive MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology. With more than 20 years of experience in clinical care, education, and leadership, Dr. Rayel is recognized for his expertise in forensic and correctional psychiatry and his commitment to advancing mental health care in justice settings.
