Dr. Justin R. White is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, licensed clinical social worker, certified nurse educator, and clinical associate professor at New Mexico State University. He serves as Director of Psychiatry for the New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department’s Juvenile Justice Services, where he provides psychiatric care for adjudicated youth. Dr. White’s professional interests include adolescent behavioral health, trauma-informed care, psychiatric nursing education, and improving mental health outcomes for justice-involved youth. His work integrates clinical practice, education, and leadership to advance behavioral health services for vulnerable populations.
