Mr. Deric Paynter is Statewide Wound Care Specialist for Team Centurion of Florida, serving the Florida Department of Corrections. He oversees wound care services for some of the state’s most medically complex patients and developed Centurion’s statewide wound care consultation program, which supports facilities across Florida through standardized protocols, education, and evidence-based practice. Mr. Paynter is a frequent presenter on correctional wound care and is dedicated to advancing clinical quality, professional education, and patient outcomes within correctional health care systems.
