Ms. Shumonica Young is a registered nurse from Fort Worth, Texas, with more than 20 years of health care experience. After beginning her studies in chemical engineering at the University of Texas at Austin, she discovered her passion for nursing. Ms. Young earned her nursing education through the JPS School of Nursing and Tarrant County College. Since 2001, Ms. Young has cared for patients at JPS Health Network in pediatrics, psychiatry, urgent care, emergency medicine, and correctional health care. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and is committed to advancing her leadership in health care.
