Mr. David Dawdy is a behavioral health consultant with more than 30 years of experience in corrections, crisis stabilization, youth residential care, and community-based treatment. Formerly the Mental Health Director for the Michigan Department of Corrections, he led the development and management of mental health, substance use disorder, and sexual offense treatment programs for justice-involved populations. Mr. Dawdy now works with organizations to strengthen service delivery systems, implement evidence-based practices, and improve workforce development. A respected speaker and trainer, he is committed to reducing stigma, expanding access to care, and advancing effective behavioral health services across correctional and community settings.
