Mr. Devante Gilbert began his journey with the Indiana Peer Education Program or INPEP while incarcerated in the Indiana Department of Correction. After his release, he joined OUTPEP and later became a full-time member of the Step-Up team, where he is dedicated to serving the community he loves. Mr. Gilbert is passionate about supporting others through recovery, personal growth, and positive change. He is a Certified Advanced Practitioner in Meditation through The Center of Mind Body Medicine and serves as a Sheik within his Islamic community.
