Dr. Frank Longano serves as Chief Medical Information Officer for the Washington State Department of Corrections. Board certified in Internal Medicine and Clinical Informatics, he has spent more than 16 years in correctional health care leadership, serving as Facility Medical Director, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, and Chief Medical Information Officer. Dr. Longano earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and a Master of Science degree in Clinical and Health Informatics from Oregon Health & Science University. His work focuses on leveraging clinical informatics, technology, and data-driven decision-making to improve patient care and operational effectiveness within correctional systems.
