Ms. Shawn Todd is a registered nurse with University of Texas Medical Branch Correctional Managed Care, serving youth within the Texas Juvenile Justice Department. She provides clinical support, staff training, and educational programming across multiple facilities. Recognized with the 2023 Above and Beyond Award for outstanding nursing service, Ms. Todd is also a certified American Heart Association instructor who teaches life-saving skills to both health care professionals and community members. Her professional interests include nursing education, workforce development, and juvenile correctional health care. She is enrolled in the UTMB School of Nursing Online Correctional Nurse Certificate Program.
