Ms. Shawn Todd is a registered nurse with the University of Texas Medical Branch Correctional Managed Care program, where she provides ambulatory nursing care at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Hospital in Galveston, Texas. She also provides clinical support, staff training, and educational programming. Recognized with the 2023 Above and Beyond Award for outstanding nursing service, Ms. Todd is a certified American Heart Association instructor who teaches lifesaving skills to health care professionals and community members. Her professional interests include nursing education, workforce development, and correctional health care. Ms. Todd is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing at the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Nursing.
