Mr. Zacharia Rupp is cofounder and president of Lono Collective, a worker-owned artificial intelligence cooperative focused on evaluating the integrity and reliability of conversational AI systems. He earned a Master of Computer Science degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from the University of Central Oklahoma. His work examines how limitations in AI reasoning and information quality can affect high-stakes applications, including behavioral health and correctional health care. Previously, he led large-scale data initiatives supporting advanced AI development and collaborated with major technology organizations. His interdisciplinary background informs his research on language, human perception, and the societal impact of emerging AI technologies.
