Ms. Jamie Vaz is a registered nurse and Enterprise Risk Management leader with Wellpath. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and began her career in acute care, specializing in emergency medicine and critical care before transitioning to correctional health care. During her decade-long tenure with Wellpath, she has held leadership roles in clinical operations, health information technology, and risk management. Ms. Vaz currently leads the organization’s Enterprise Risk Management team, focusing on risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, patient safety, and reducing organizational liability across correctional health care systems.
