Dr. Melissa Johnson is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who provides behavioral health care and medication management for youth across multiple Utah Juvenile Justice and Youth Services facilities. She earned both her nursing and doctoral degrees from the University of Utah and is dedicated to improving access to high-quality mental health services for justice-involved youth. Dr. Johnson’s work focuses on psychiatric assessment, medication management, trauma-informed care, and supporting positive behavioral health outcomes for adolescents in correctional settings.
