Dr. Aliya Saeed is a full-time correctional psychiatrist with previous clinical experience in inpatient care, community mental health, private practice, and crisis services leadership. She completed her psychiatry residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital and a public psychiatry fellowship at Columbia University. Dr. Saeed has worked in correctional settings with both federal and state detainees in California and New York and previously served as assistant professor of psychiatry at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
She has presented workshops and seminars at the American Psychiatric Association's annual meetings on multiple occasions.
