Ms. Tracey Titus is founder and chief executive officer of Titus Correctional Health Consulting, LLC. Through her company, she provides correctional health system evaluations, accreditation preparation, legal nurse consulting, and correctional health education. Ms. Titus has been a registered nurse for 35 years, including 32 years in correctional health care. She began her corrections career as a staff nurse before serving for 19 years as health services administrator for a county jail, where she oversaw health services operations, policy development, quality improvement, staff supervision, electronic health record implementation, and security staff training. She later served as vice president of accreditation for the National Commission on Correctional Health Care, overseeing accreditation for nearly 500 facilities, leading development of the surveyor program, and guiding revisions to multiple NCCHC Standards publications. Before founding her consulting company, she served as senior director of policy and accreditation for Centurion Health. Ms. Titus has published in CorrectCare, authored a textbook chapter, presented nationally, and served as an NCCHC lead surveyor and trainer for 18 years.
