Mr. Wilson Uy has more than 20 years of experience developing, implementing, and evaluating clinical programs within Los Angeles County Correctional Health Services. Since beginning his correctional health care career in 2002, he has worked across both inpatient and outpatient settings and has become a recognized leader in quality improvement. Mr. Uy has led numerous initiatives that have earned local and national recognition for innovation and sustainability, including awards from the National Association of Counties and the American Organization for Nursing Leadership. A frequent presenter at national conferences, he specializes in performance improvement methodologies, including root cause analysis, driver diagrams, and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s Model for Improvement. His work focuses on fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement within correctional health care systems.
