Mr. Avrell Stokes is executive director and cofounder of BeGreat Together, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering community leaders and advancing community-driven change. In partnership with the Health Forward Foundation, the Convergence Partnership, and Assemble.fyi, Mr. Stokes created the DocuCourse film series to help community leaders share their stories and highlight innovative approaches to community transformation. Mr. Stokes is recognized for his work in community engagement and storytelling and has been featured on local and national platforms. In 2021, he was named to the Points of Light Inspiration Honor Roll in recognition of his leadership and commitment to volunteer service and community impact.
