Ms. Anna Hector is a medical student at the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University. She serves as a volunteer Narcan educator at the Rhode Island Training School, the state's juvenile detention facility, and an outreach volunteer for the Rhode Island Street Medicine Program, an organization that provides health services to community members experiencing homelessness. She also conducts research with the Rhode Island Department of Health and Brown's School of Public Health to better understand HIV transmission dynamics in the state and prevent further spread.
