Dr. Shannon Gravely is a Principal Scientist at the Canadian Centre of Recovery Excellence in Alberta, Canada, with nearly 20 years of research experience in behavioral medicine, public health, and health policy evaluation. Her research has focused on evaluating the impact of tobacco and nicotine regulatory policies and examining how mental health and social determinants of health influence substance use, health outcomes, and access to treatment services. She has contributed to numerous research grants and authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications. At CoRE, she leads projects evaluating therapeutic living units in correctional facilities and the Alberta Adult Mental Health and Substance Use Survey.
