Ms. Kristy Cobban is a corrections administrator with extensive experience leading statewide initiatives for the Montana Department of Corrections. She oversees reentry strategy, operational planning, and program evaluation to strengthen accountability and system effectiveness across diverse correctional settings. Dr. Cobban's leadership experience includes executive roles in secure care operations, case management, and multidisciplinary team oversight. She has led policy alignment efforts, conducted performance audits, and guided major statewide initiatives, including implementation of the Medicaid Section 1115 waiver. Dr. Cobban earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in criminal justice and a Doctor of Philosophy in public safety.
