Dr. Arturo Carrion has been a physician for 20 years, including 12 years providing care to correctional populations. He serves as lead attending physician at RMC Hospital in Lake Butler, Florida. Dr. Carrion has been involved with NCCHC for nine years and has published work in genetics and physiology. Dr. Carrion earned a Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in social studies from the University of Puerto Rico at Cayey and completed his medical and doctoral studies at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico.
