Aaron Brown, a Master Peace Officer License holder, began his law enforcement career with the Waller County Sheriff’s Office in 2010, serving in patrol, narcotics, and K-9 roles. He joined the Harris County Sheriff’s Office in 2017 as a patrol deputy before transitioning to the Crisis Intervention Response Team (CIRT). Since 2018, Aaron has served on the Crisis Negotiation Team, managing high-risk incidents and mental health crises. Promoted to Sergeant in 2022, he served as a CIRT Sergeant until his promotion to Lieutenant in 2026. He currently oversees Detentions Command Containment Team, Detentions Crisis Response Unit and Detention Training.
