Dr. Abhilasha Saxena is an epidemiologist with the Washington State Department of Corrections, where she works in health services informatics, research, and data analytics. Her work focuses on using clinical and population health data to inform quality improvement, health system planning, and policy in correctional health settings. Dr. Saxena has experience in chronic disease surveillance, health services research, and public health informatics, with a particular interest in improving care for medically complex and underserved populations. Before joining the Washington State Department of Corrections, she worked on public health surveillance and data modernization initiatives supporting state and federal health agencies.
