Dr. Renberg is the Statewide Psychiatric Medical Director for Pennsylvania. She has worked in corrections since 2014 and has particular interest in working with incarcerated people who are transgender, violent, and/or serving long sentences. She is a delegate of the Pennsylvania Medical Society and is certified by the World Professional Association for Transgender Health. She recently completed a Masters in Legal Studies and hopes to utilize her experiences to assist in improving psychiatric care given in prisons. She received her BS in chemistry and biology from Union University, her MD and MPH from St. George's University, and her MSL from West Virginia University.
