Dr. Susan Tiona is board certified in family medicine and has been practicing in corrections since 2004.  Since 2015, she has also worked as an expert witness in both consulting and testimony roles for correctional health care civil litigation. Dr. Susan Tiona graduated from medical school in 1992 and also obtained a master of science in forensic psychology in 2020.  Her work in corrections has professionally and personally challenged her to pursue excellence in the practice of medicine and health care delivery. Dr. Tiona is currently employed with CoreCivic as a telemedicine provider and still engages in expert witness work as well.
