Mr. Brian Brown is the superintendent of the Peoria County Juvenile Detention Center (PCJDC). In 2013, the PCJDC achieved accreditation from the National Commission on Correctional Health Care. In 2015, the PCJDC became fully compliant with PREA standards. Mr. Brown has a master's degree in public administration from the University of Illinois. In 2020, he completed the Department of Justice's PREA auditor training program. He also is an adjunct professor at the Illinois Central College where he teaches juvenile delinquency theory, practice, and law.
