Dr Steven Descoteaux is the Program Medical Director for Wellpath's Community Care Division. He  is board certified in internal medicine and addiction medicine.  His experience working in corrections began in 2007 when he became the medical director of a county jail in Massachusetts. Before joining Wellpath's Community Care Division, he served as the Statewide Medical Director for the Massachusetts Department of Corrections for three years. He has been working with addicted patients providing community based treatment since starting an office based opioid treatment clinic on Cape Cod in 2003.
