Dr. Richard Clarke was the medical director for the Berkshire County Jail and House of Correction in western Massachusetts for over 20 years until his retirement in October 2014. Prior to that he maintained a family practice in southern Berkshire County. He has surveyed for NCCHC for over 10 years. He was on the committee revising NCCHC standards in 2014 and presently participates in the committee updating physician survey tools.
