Description
Stress is part of the unique world of corrections, and has been exacerbated by concerns such as the pandemic, socioeconomic disparities, and racial injustice. Corrections professionals are experiencing the failure of time-honored ways of coping and living life. This session will explore techniques to develop a healthy life balance plan, to include stress-relieving and life-balancing practices; resiliency; supervision and support groups; meditation, mindfulness, yoga, and exercise; and healthy eating.
