Clinicians need an effective, affordable, available, safe, and easy-to-use dressing solution to teach wound patients who are being dismissed with minimal resources. A quest to provide an evidence-based solution for wound management in tropical developing countries led to a randomized controlled trial. A significant modification of a dressing technique proven successful for Japanese pressure injury patients was trialed on leg ulcers. Materials are affordable and easily available.
