Dr. Bates has led QCHC since he founded the company in 2005. He is double board certified in Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine and is licensed to practice medicine in Alabama, Kentucky, Illinois, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Dr. Bates is a Certified Correctional Health Professional Physician by the National Commission on Correctional Health Care and a Certified Physician Executive by the American Association for Physician Leadership. He is a fellow of both the American Society of Addiction Medicine (FASAM) and American College Correctional Physicians (FACCP). Dr. Bates frequent speaks on correctional health care and addiction medicine.
