Dr. Sharen Barboza is a clinical and consulting psychologist who has worked in correctional mental health for more than 25 years. She provides monitoring, consultation, training, and expert opinion on the delivery of mental health services in correctional settings; as well as behavioral and emotional wellness. Dr. Barboza’s publication topics include suicide risk, criminal thinking, and reduction of self-injury. She has a master's in experimental psychology from Tufts University, a PhD in clinical psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and certification in Wholebeing Positive Psychology.
