Description

Primary prevention is generally the most cost-effective way to maintain the health and functioning of a population. This session will review some current recommendations for preventive medicine practice applicable to correctional populations, focusing on guidelines from the USPSTF. Emphasis will be placed on interventions for otherwise healthy populations, along with suggestions for efficient implementation of screening programs.
