Description

Principles of nursing documentation are a hot topic, but defensive documentation begins with providing quality patient care. This session will discuss concepts of patient-centered care, curiosity, critical thinking, and missed care, featuring interactive audience participation in dramatic demonstrations and evaluations. The presentation will also address unique challenges and considerations related to delivering quality patient care in the correctional setting, including time pressures and quality standards.
