This research investigates obstacles to routine HIV screening in incarcerated women and challenges in sustaining viral suppression post-incarceration. It evaluates current screening practices, transitional health programs, and alternative strategies to improve care continuity and antiretroviral access, critical for addressing the high HIV rates among incarcerated women.
