Many correctional health care law suits stem from dissatisfaction over medication choices, ranging from cases where the patient wants a different drug or is incapable of making good medical decisions. This seminar explores claims including involuntary medication, health care proxies, medication noncompliance and resulting discontinuation, and informed consent.
